Mustela is Miah and Momma Approved
Oftentimes we discover products because the company popped up on our Instagram. I have never heard of Mustela until I saw them on my feed recently but I reached out to them about trying some samples. They were very prompt in response and told me that I would need to fill out a short questionnaire and because I wasn’t sure what to expect, I didn’t list anything we were needing. I just wanted to see what they would send which ended up being their Hydra Bebe Body Lotion (you can see Miah holding it above and below after taking it from my dad!) and the No Rinse Cleansing Water .
The lotion smells so fresh and glides on without sticking. Mustafa touts all-natural plant-based ingredients and the lotion includes Jojoba Oil, Sunflower Oil, Vitamins E and F, Sweet Almond Oil, Shea Butter, and their signature Avocado Perseose. It’s perfect after Miah’s bath and because she’s a little wiggle worm, it’s helpful that the lotion rubs on easily and penetrates fast.
As for the Cleansing Water, it’s really great in a pinch. I used it with one of her wash rags that I packed in my diaper bag while we were at the fair. I was worried that the no-rinse formula would make for a sticky residue afterward but it didn’t as well as having the same clean scent as the lotion. Both products are Paraben, Phthalate and Phenoxyethanol free as with all of their line. Unfortunately I forgot to take a pic of me using the Cleansing Water in action but you can find it on the website. I would buy the 100ml size and throw it in your diaper bag just as I did because sometimes I really need to use more than one baby wipe or water wipe and it feels so wasteful.
Overall we would definitely recommend and buy these products as well as others because Miah’s skin is kind of sensitive. The products seem to be soothing and agreeable to her skin as well as mine — she gets her sensitivity from me I think!
I will be writing about more of their products in the future because I’m also interested in their other stuff. Now to try to get this lotion out of Miah’s hand already!
