My personal transformation of a lifetime

My personal transformation of a lifetime

I haven’t posted an update about my weightloss and health progress since February. That was around the time I decided to take on Healthy Wage and bet against myself but that’s another post for another time because it really IS a separate topic.

Although I won’t poo poo losing 22 pounds and double digit inches, if I had taken the steps I recently have taken, I would have reached my first goal by now.

The progress you see above was MOST of my weightloss! You heard that right. And I wasn’t deprived. I moved my body again after so long and started really working on what I ate and how I ate. The game changer for me was Instgram because even though I’ve been pitched so many different programs in my day, I finally heard it from the right angle and the right approach. I needed a change. I needed a major push. And I took the plunge.

Not only did I find personal success with losing weight and feeling better with more energy, I made the decision to be a wellness coach while doing so. That’s another thing I didn’t see coming! It’s one thing to begin transforming your life, but quite another to begin wanting to help do the same for others. What I love about this business is that it works alongside everything else I do — being a wife and mama, freelance writing and editing, photography, and writing coaching! I’m still learning and growing but the best part is that the way to my destination doesn’t have to be polished, already perfected, and/or not messy. I live 100% my truth at every turn and I share my experiences often.

If you watched that video above, you can see I don’t mince words about how I felt. I am always a work in progress but this time around that progress is more important now than ever because of my age and my responsibilities to a precocious toddler. I will be documenting my successes and challenges here along the way. If you want to kick things up a notch, please join me on my Facebook group Countdown to 2020 Showdown! Everyone there is doing something different so it makes for a diverse set of ideas about fitness.

The way I see it, we aren’t competing with each other. We are competing with ourselves. We are working together to crush our personal doubts, self-imposed limitations, and negative talk. The showdown is about meeting up with those things head on and tossing them aside as much as possible! We are here to support each other on this long and often challenging journey of self-love, self-discovery, and becoming the BEST version of ourselves. That’s why I want to make sure that 2020 won't know what hit it!

More to come about all the things I’ve left unsaid but a proper update was in order! Please message me if you have any questions or need some support. It really does take a village and we HAVE to take care of ourselves while all of the daily craziness of motherhood happens.
